Partners announce expansion as newly-franchised WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Best Beach Real Estate brings brand to Miami

MIAMI BEACH/Morris Plains, N.J., April 3, 2006--The dynamic team of Abraham Chehebar, Steven Schmutter and Alberto Bassal has formed a franchise relationship with Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., bringing two highly respected names together.  BESTbeach Real Estate, which has earned a topnotch reputation since it came to life in Miami as a brokerage, is now WEICHERT, REALTORS® Best Beach Real Estate.

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates launched its first independently owned and operated franchise in Jupiter, Florida in January 2002 and now claims 67 affiliated offices in the state.

Best Beach Real Estate owners were joined in the conversion announcement by the Weichert franchise company's President Martin J. Rueter and Senior Vice President Bill Scott, a fellow Miamian.  Scott said, proudly, "We are very excited about working with this group of young, enthusiastic entrepreneurs who are extremely tuned in to the market.

Chehebar, the company's Managing Director, said that the decision to franchise was predicated on "a greater presence."  He pointed to Weichert's business tools, operating systems and north east presence as well as to its position in the relocation arena, as among the reasons they chose the company.  Weichert Relocation Resources Inc. is one of the world's leading global relocation and assignment management firms, with a service reach encompassing 120 countries.  "And, we need the structure that this affiliation provides," Chehebar said, "to maximize the strengths of our team, our company."

The trio of entrepreneurs includes Schmutter, whom Chehebar describes as "solidly behind the scenes," and "an incredibly talented" Marketing & Development Director Alberto Bassal.
